X Motion Kit – Professional Motion Upgrade

Turn your static rig into a full motion simulator. The Novus X Motion Kit is a professional 3DOF motion upgrade: four electric actuators with 120mm stroke, a motion controller, Brainbox, and mounting adapters for both the X Cage and aluminium extrusion rigs. This is the exact same motion hardware that runs underneath our Misha Spec, Full Motion RS, and Full Motion S.

Original price was: €9,980.00.Current price is: €8,982.00. tax excluded

"Adding motion changed how I prepare for race weekends. You feel the car load up under braking into Turn 1 at Monza, the weight shift through Maggotts-Becketts, the surface drop away over crests at the Nordschleife. You stop thinking about inputs and start reacting to the car. That's when sim racing becomes genuine driver training."

Misha Charoudin

Professional Racing Driver

"Rally demands split-second reactions to constantly changing grip and terrain. The motion trains exactly that: sudden weight shifts, surface transitions, and car behavior right at the limit. You learn to anticipate through your body, not just your eyes."

Professional Motion for Your Existing Setup

The X Motion Kit delivers the same 120mm stroke motion used in every Novus full motion racing simulator, available separately for chassis owners who want to add motion without replacing the peripherals they already have.

At 120mm, vehicle movements play out at their natural scale. Braking pitch into a heavy stop, cornering roll through a fast complex, elevation changes climbing through Eau Rouge, the surface transition from tarmac to gravel on a rally stage. The actuators track the physics engine rather than compressing it into abbreviated pulses. Combined with 250mm/s speed and sub-10ms response, curb strikes and sudden grip changes arrive when they should, not a beat behind the visual.

Your existing wheelbase, pedals, and displays stay exactly where they are. The Kit goes underneath.

Novus X Motion Kit - Components

Already own an X Cage or aluminium profile rig?

The Kit bolts onto your existing chassis. Adapters for aluminium extrusion frames are included. If you're starting fresh and want motion from day one, the X Motion System bundles the X Cage chassis and motion hardware in a single order at a lower price than buying them separately. And if you want everything decided for you (wheelbase, pedals, display, PC, seat), our complete systems ship ready to race.

Who the X Motion Kit Is Built For

  • X Cage owners. Adding motion to your existing chassis without buying a complete system. Perfect fit, no modification needed.
  • Aluminium profile rig owners. Upgrading a compatible rig with professional motion hardware.
  • Component keepers. You've invested in a wheelbase and pedals you love. The Kit adds motion without touching any of it.
  • Hands-on builders. Comfortable with mechanical assembly and software calibration.

Frequently asked questions

No, but it’s the easiest install. The Kit works with the X Cage (perfect fit, pre-drilled mounting points) and with compatible aluminium extrusion rigs using the adapters included in the box. If you don’t have a chassis yet, consider the X Motion System, which includes the X Cage pre-assembled with the motion hardware and saves money versus buying them separately.

You start reacting to the car instead of the screen. Under braking, you feel the pitch build and know when the tires are at the limit before the visual tells you. Through a fast corner sequence, the roll communicates grip level through your body, the same way it does in a real car. Drivers who train on motion consistently report better braking points and faster corner entry when they go back to the real track, because the feedback loop between motion and input becomes instinctive.

Identical. The Full Motion S, the Full Motion RS, and the Misha Spec all run these exact actuators: same 120mm stroke, same 250kg load capacity, same 250mm/s speed. The only difference is that complete systems include chassis, wheelbase, pedals, displays, and PC. The Kit lets you add that same motion to your existing setup without replacing any peripherals.

SimHub is industry-standard motion software that’s free to download and supports all major racing sims including iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, and Automobilista 2. Community and professional motion profiles are available for every major title, and we include pre-configured profiles to get you running immediately. No ongoing subscription costs.

The kit ships with detailed instructions, all mounting hardware, and the tools you’ll need. If you’re comfortable with basic mechanical work, typical installation takes 6–8 hours. We provide support via email and video call, with 5 hours of remote support included. If you’d prefer professional installation, our team handles assembly, calibration, and software setup in a single on-site visit, quoted separately based on location.

Upgrade path worked exactly as advertised. Had chassis for 6 months, added this, now I have full motion. Brilliant

Motion works really well once set up. Installation took most of a day. Documentation could be clearer but support helped

Added this to my X Cage after saving up. Completely transforms the experience. You actually feel elevation changes not just bumps
